ENGLISH POETRY 1579-1830: SPENSER AND THE TRADITION

Robert Heath

(1620 ca.-1650 fl.)


Probably the Robert Heath who entered Corpus Christi College Cambridge as a fellow-commoner in 1634 and was admitted to the Inner Temple in 1637. He was an auditor in the Court of Wards. The chief-justice Heath died in exile in France before Clarastella was published in 1650.
