HENRY PEACHAM, authour of The garden of eloquence, 1577, wrote Minerva Britanna, or a garden of heroycal devices, 1612, 4to. He has some poetical translations in his Compleat gentleman. He publish'd a volume of epigrams, intitul'd Thalias banquet, in 1620; and contributed 4 copys of verses to the Odcombian banquet, 1611; in the English, French, Latin, and Utopian tongues.
