This gentleman was one of the contributors to the periodical paper called the World: which was originally set on foot by Mr. Edward Moore, the author of Fables for the Female Sex. He has also written the Scribleriad, a mock-heroic poem in six cantos: an Account of the War in India, in 1760, in one volume, quarto: and several miscellaneous Poems, which were republished in Dodsley's Collection.
