Anna Laetitia Barbauld

Anonymous, in Biographical Dictionary of Living Authors (1816) 13].

ANNA LAETITIA BARBAULD, sister to Dr. Aikin. About 1774 or 5 she married the Rev. Rochemont Barbauld, a Dissenting Clergyman, who formerly kept a school at Palgrave, Suffolk, and died a few years since, at Stoke Newington, where Mrs. B. still resides. This lady has employed her excellent genius to the noblest ends, in exciting infancy to virtue, and maturer age to a love of freedom.
