Isaac D'Israeli

Anonymous, in Biographical Dictionary of Living Authors (1816) 95-96.

I. D'ISRAELI, Esq. the only son of an Italian merchant, long resident in this country. He was educated at school at Enfield, and was for some time at a private seminary at Amsterdam. A few years afterwards he made the tour of France and Italy, and returned with a confirmed passion for literature, which he began early to indulge, as is evident from the following list of his publications, many of which appeared without his name [list omitted].
