This Author liv'd in the Reigns of King James and King Charles I. He was the Son of Robert Markham of Cotham, in the Country of Nottingham, Esq. In the Time of the Civil Wars, he bore a Captain's Commission under King Charles I, being well skill'd in the Art of War, and was also a good Scholar. He writ one Play, call'd,
