Joseph COCKFIELD, of Upton, near Plaistow, and West-Ham, Essex. — Sixty-three letters of Mr. Joseph Cockfield to the Rev. Weedon Butler, of Chelsea (written from 1765 to 1771.) — In Nichols's Illustrations of Literary History of the 18th Century, vol. 5. 8vo. 1828.

He was also a contributor to the Christian Magazine and other periodicals, and, under the signature of Christianus, wrote a series of letters on Dr. Hawkesworth's preface to Cook's Voyages.

He died in the 3rd month, 1816, aged 75 years.
