Note. — The Preface is signed "Eliza," and dated "6th of 1st Month," Retreat, South Lambeth," and was written in the 80th year of the author's age. At page 65 is, "Reflections on the Death of my Beloved Husband, Thomas Day, who departed this life, the 25th of the 12th Month, 1807," and dated "Stockwell, Surrey, 7th of the 12th Month, 1808."
