RICHARD CAREW. Godfrey of Bulloigne, or the recoverie of Hiersusalem. An heroical poeme written in Italian by seig. Torquato Tasso, and translated into English by R. C. esquire: and now the first part containing five cantos, imprinted in both languages: printed by John Windet for Thomas Man, n.d. 4to. Other copys, with less matter in the title, bear to be "printed for Christopher Hunt of Exeter," 1594, 4to. A few verses, by this authour, may be found in his Survey of Cornwall, 1602. He was born in 1555, and dye'd in 1620. His name is pronounce'd "Carey," not "Carew."
