P—e has best Title to the dirty Mass:
If a prophane Burlesque of Holy Writ,
And Scraps of Common-Place are Standard Wit,
Let Homer's Butcher on Parnassus sit.
Let him put forth Translations ev'ry Week,
If first he learns to read, then construe Greek.
