An American Hudibrastic; but the hero's politics are reversed, as he espouses, what the Americans style, the Tory cause. — We here find wit, and humour, and barbarous rhymes, as frequent as in the British Hudibras: nor does the Yankey Poet seem, as far as we may judge from a performance so comparatively small, in any respect, inferior to his predecessor, of merry memory.
