From Porter's information given in sir Richard Blackmore's History of this Conspiracy, p. 85, it appears, that Bevill Higgons, and his elder brother, Mr. Thomas Higgons, who were both deeply engaged in king James's interests, refused to be concerned in any attempt upon king William's person.
