Sir George Lyttleton was, in the course of the year 1756, advanced to a peerage; and one of his first acts was to confer a scarf on Dr. WARTON. To him were submitted his lordship's proposed alterations of Thomson, and under his critical eye was revised a part of the life of Henry II.
