At the hospitable house of my friend, Mr. Fraser Tytler, now (1805) Lord Woodhouselee, I often saw his friends, Mr. Henry Mackenzie and Dr. Gregory. The elegant genius of the former was too calm to make a due impression on the tumultuary mind of a disputatious boy.
