John Wilson

Henry Glassford Bell, in "The Men whom I get Glorious with!" Edinburgh Literary Journal (30 October 1830) 225.

There's WILSON, whom I get glorious with!—
By Jove! he's the boy for a revel yet,
And for chasing away a blue devil yet,
His wit sparkles up like a champagne cup,
And there's heart and soul in every sup!
Wilson's the man for a swig at the can—
So there's Wilson that I get glorious with!
