Mrs. Sigourney appears to have the power of writing extempore on passing events at the moment they are called for. But few persons, especially of poetic genius, have ever possessed this power.... Those powers are twice valuable that can well accomplish their purpose on demand. Certainly as it regards poetic gifts, they who give promptly give twice.
