Rev. Richard Farmer

Anonymous, "A Card, to the Rev. Dr. Farmer, Master of Emanuel College, Cambridge" London Evening Post (21 October 1777).

A Gentleman who subscribed the sum of five shillings, in part of his subscription, for the History and Antiquities of the Town of Leicester, so long ago as the year 1772, desires to know whether such promised History is in any, and what forwardness for the press? A satisfactory answer is desired through the channel of this paper, as the writer of the card is interested in the History of the above HISTORY of Leicester.
