To mumble Thistles, his supreme delight:
Such is the Critic, who with wayward Pride,
To Blackmore gives the Praise to Pope deny'd;
Wakes Yalden's Embers, Joys in Pomfret's Lay,
But sickens at the Heav'n-strung Lyre of Gray.
